Equivalent series resistance ESR
Equivalent series resistance refers to the resistance component of an equivalent series circuit. ESR value depends on frequency and temperature and is related to the tangent of loss angle. The relevant formula is as follows:

CS: Series capacitance
When calculating ESR value, the allowable deviation limit of rated capacitance must be recorded.
